Deluxe Albums coming soon

Cherry Red Records are to re-release the first two Blow Monkey albums as ‘Deluxe” editions complete with remixes, demos, b’ sides and previously unreleased tracks! “Limping for A Generation” and “Animal Magic” are being lined up for release on Nov 26 and will be available for pre –order at Amazon and all the usual digital outlets in about ten days time.

Robert has worked closely with Cherry Red on this and has provided new pictures and interviews specific to the albums. “Some of the demo’s are very different to the finished songs” says Robert “almost like completely different songs, and the band archivist Mick has unearthed some gems..the unreleased tracks “Soulboy in Slumber” and “Guess I Love her Now” are my favorites”... Watch out for some news on upcoming gigs very soon!

Robert has also recorded a new version of his song “Sycamore Tree” from the album “Birds Gotta Fly” as a tribute to the late great Marc Bolan who died on this day 35 years ago..download it for free from here.
