Im with U scott, 1986 i was at moffet field naval base in california when this guy turned me on to "digging your scene" we slow danced to it over & over a few times and i was hooked!!! i even have it as my ring tone for my text messages.

I am a huge fan of the Monkees. In 1986, they were getting back together for a reunion tour and to make some new recordings. I was so excited, to say the least. Someone called me to say the heard a new Monkees song on the radio called "Diggin Your Scene". and they recorded it for me. I listenend to that song until I had it memorized. No internet in those days so I finally found the information that it was a group called the Blow Monkeys, who sang the song. I was very surprised because Davy Jones is British and the lead singer sounds similar. Anyway, all these years later, I still love that song. I recently found ti on youtube and put it on my ipod so I can bring back the 80s again.
